David Penner

Bio

David Penner is an associate attorney at Kingsley and Kingsley Employment Lawyers.  He represents employees in all aspects of workplace disputes, including wage and hour class action litigation, as well as single-plaintiff litigation involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation.

Mr. Penner graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, earning his B.A. with a double major in History and American Culture.  He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.  During law school, he served as president of the Jewish Law Association, and as a student chair of the volunteer program, Saturday Academy of Law. He also served as a law clerk for a local bankruptcy law firm.

Prior to joining Kingsley and Kingsley Employment Lawyers, Mr. Penner practiced employment law with another firm, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in Class Action cases and individual lawsuits and arbitrations. He remains committed to serving his community, and is particularly interested in promoting equity in education.

In his free time, Mr. Penner watches sports, enjoys musical theater, competes in trivia competitions with friends and family, and runs on the beach.
